Paul Brody is a sound artist whose work explores the boundaries of melody and spoken word through sound installation, composition, performance, and  radio.  A melody is a story and a story is a melody, he likes to tell people who want to understand is perspective on text and notes. His work can be found in venues such as:

John Zorn’s Tzadik Records. Paul Brody’s Sadawi Ensemble. Arnold Dreyblatt’s Orchestra of Excited Strings and Winds. (2009-2013) Enja Records (2014-2017)

Munich Kammerspiele Opera Department awarded him 2016 Artist in Residence to feature him both as an installation artist and performer.

Julian Rosefeldt with Cate Blanchett in Manifesto shows him in dada funeral. (2016)

The Jewish Museum Berlin featured his installation Five Easy Pieces, exploring the notion of home and identity with the voice-melody compositions with Dani Levy,  Katharina Oguntoye, and other Berliners. (2011)

The Transmediale Festival for Art and Digital Culture through the NK Art space featured Five Families Listening, for the surveillance exhibit. (2014)

WDR and Deutschland Radio feature and radio art.(2009-2017)
