Mending clothes brought across an ocean, working endless hours in sweat shops, religious and group belonging, combining fabric from two continents, new fashions that start out of necessity in ghettos

and end up in Paris fashion shows, all this is part of immigrant culture.  This sound installation combines the musical composition with the rhythmic accents of the sewing machine with bass and piano and stories from people involved in sewing.
